Mitch Stapleton
CEO
Growing up in Las Vegas, Mitch came to Kagoshima as a young college graduate, and after seeing Kagoshima’s potential as a birthplace for startup companies, he founded STAPLETON – an innovative learning center and language school, and STORi STUDIOS. Mitch has worked with major Kagoshima companies and local governments to help develop their global branding and international messaging. He is also a regular on local media outlets and hosts his own radio show on MyuFM.
Josh Morinaga
Media Director
Josh was born in the state of Hawaii, but he moved to Japan for higher education. Together with his business partner Mitch, Josh co-founded STORi STUDIOS, which has allowed him to bring numerous stories to life, work with a diverse range of clients, and film and edit hundreds of high-quality videos. He brings a passion for storytelling and video creation to his work. His experience in filming and editing dates back to his high school years.
Kiyoka Dainenji
Client Services Manager
Kiyoka was born in Kagoshima City, Japan. She has worked in the U.S. buying furniture, clothing, and other items, and as a sales representative, proposing products to buyers and working as a visual merchandiser consultant. She is also a TEDx Kagoshima staff member and volunteer. She is a representative of a non-profit organization in the fields of sound upbringing of children, protection of human rights, and promotion of peace.
